Privacy policy

The short version: your source video never reaches us, and the audio that does is deleted on a clock.

Last reviewed: 2 August 2026

This page is a placeholder. dubmy.video is pre-launch and this document has not been reviewed by counsel. It describes what we intend to commit to, so you can judge us by it early — but it is not yet a binding agreement. Questions: support@dubmy.video.

What never leaves your device

Your source video file and its frames. The browser decodes the file locally to extract the audio track, to preview the dub against the muted picture, and to mux the final export. None of those steps send video data anywhere.

What we process

  • The extracted audio track you upload for a job.
  • Transcripts and translations derived from that audio.
  • Dubbed audio and subtitle files we generate for you.
  • Account and billing metadata: email, plan, credit ledger entries, job status and timestamps.

Retention

  • Trial media: deleted 24 hours after the job completes.
  • Paid media: deleted 7 days after the job completes.
  • On request: deleted immediately. Ledger entries required for accounting are kept, but they contain no media.

No training on your content

Your audio, transcripts and voice characteristics are never used to train or fine-tune models, ours or anyone else's.

Processors

We use infrastructure providers for authentication, database, object storage and payments. The final list will be published here before launch, with the region each one operates in.

Your rights

You can request export or deletion of your data at any time by writing to support@dubmy.video.
